Terms and Conditions for Public Events at the Renaissance at Kelham Hall


  1. Event Registration:
    • All attendees must register or purchase tickets for the public event. Registration details will be communicated through our official channels.
  2. Ticketing and Payment:
    • Ticket prices, payment methods, and any applicable fees will be specified in the event registration information.
    • Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable unless otherwise stated in the event details.
  3. Event Access:
    • Access to the event venue will be granted only to registered attendees who have valid tickets or credentials.
    • Valid identification may be required for entry, and age restrictions may apply for certain events.
  4. Event Schedule:
    • Event start and end times, as well as the program schedule, will be communicated in advance.
    • The Renaissance at Kelham Hall reserves the right to modify the schedule or content of the event, as necessary.
  5. Photography and Recording:
    • Photography and audio/video recording may be conducted during the event. Attendees grant permission for their likeness or voice to be included in event materials.
  6. Code of Conduct:
    • All attendees are expected to adhere to a code of conduct that promotes a respectful and inclusive environment.
    • Harassment or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated, and the Renaissance at Kelham Hall reserves the right to remove individuals who violate this code.
  7. Safety and Security:
    • The Renaissance at Kelham Hall is committed to ensuring the safety and security of all event attendees.
    • Bag checks and security measures may be in place, and attendees are expected to comply with any security protocols.
  8. Liability and Responsibility:
    • Attendees are responsible for their own personal belongings and property.
    • The Renaissance at Kelham Hall is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained during the event.
  9. Alcohol and Substance Use:
    • Alcohol consumption, if permitted, is subject to age restrictions and local laws.
    • The use of illegal substances is strictly prohibited.
  10. Event Merchandise:
    • Event merchandise, if available, will be sold separately and is subject to availability.
  11. Refund Policy:
    • Refunds will be considered in the following circumstances:
      • Event Cancellation: In the rare event that the event is cancelled by the Renaissance at Kelham Hall, full ticket refunds will be issued.
      • Event Postponement: If the event is postponed to a new date, ticket holders unable to attend the rescheduled event may request a refund.
    • The Renaissance at Kelham Hall operates a no-refund policy (unless an event has been cancelled).
      A ticket cannot be refunded in adverse weather conditions if a performance or event still goes ahead.
      No refund for pre – booked tickets can be made on the announcement of a subsequent special offer.
    • We offer a refund to credit option, which can be redeemed on another event in our calendar.
    • Refund requests must be made within 14 days of the event cancellation or postponement announcement.
  12. Cancellation or Postponement:
    • The Renaissance at Kelham Hall reserves the right to cancel or postpone public events due to unforeseen circumstances or insufficient registrations.
    • In such cases, attendees will be notified, and refunds or alternative arrangements will be made as applicable.
  13. Amendments to Terms and Conditions:
    • The Renaissance at Kelham Hall reserves the right to amend or update these terms and conditions as necessary. Any changes will be communicated to attendees through our official channels.

By registering for and attending our public events, attendees acknowledge and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.


Refund Policy for Event Stall Holders

At the Renaissance at Kelham Hall, we value the participation of our stall holders in our internal events. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, leading to the need for refunds. To maintain fairness and transparency in our refund process, we have established the following refund policy:

  1. Refund Eligibility:
    • Refunds will be considered for stall fees paid by stall holders who are unable to participate in the market due to exceptional circumstances or unavoidable emergencies.
  2. Notification and Documentation:
    • Stall holders seeking a refund must notify us of their inability to attend the event as soon as possible.
    • Requests for refunds must be accompanied by appropriate documentation or evidence of the exceptional circumstances, such as medical certificates, legal notices, or other relevant proof.
  3. Refund Process:
    • Upon receiving a refund request and the necessary documentation, our team will review the request within 5 business days.
    • Approved refunds will be processed via the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed upon.
  4. Refund Amount:
    • Refunds will be determined on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the specific circumstances and any costs incurred by the Renaissance at Kelham Hall.
  5. Deadline for Refund Requests:
    • Stall holders must submit refund requests no later than 7 days before the event date. Requests received after this deadline may not be considered
  6. Non-Refundable Fees:
    • Certain fees, such as processing fees or administrative charges, may be non-refundable and will be deducted from the refund amount, if applicable.
  7. Event Cancellation:
    • In the rare event that the Renaissance at Kelham Hall cancels the event, stall fees will be refunded in full to all registered stall holders.
  8. Discretionary Refunds:
    • The Renaissance at Kelham Hall reserves the right to grant refunds on a discretionary basis in exceptional circumstances not explicitly covered by this policy.
    • We encourage open communication. Please contact our team within 7 days after the event to discuss your concerns. Refund requests related to event operations will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

By participating in our events, stall holders acknowledge and accept the terms of this refund policy. We strive to be understanding and accommodating in cases of genuine need, while also maintaining fairness and integrity in our operations.
