A night to remember! On Friday 12th May, we welcomed guests for an evening filled with dining, dancing and singing at our Mamma Mia! Party Night, featuring the incredible Mamma Mia team from LPP Events. The magnificent Great Hall set the stage for an enchanting event, where guests were greeted with a sparkling glass of prosecco or non-alcoholic fizz upon entering.
A Night of Mamma Mia Magic: Dining, Dancing and Pure Delight!
As guests settled into their seats, they were treated to a sumptuous three-course dinner by our award-winning catering team. The menu showcased a range of appetising options, including roasted tomato and basil soup, prawn Marie rose or duck and orange terrine. For main course, the choice included braised blade of beef, oven-roasted salmon or pasta arrabbiata. To conclude the meal, guests savoured the indulgent desserts of passion fruit panna cotta or a rich chocolate brownie.
Following the delightful dining experience, the floor came alive with the fabulous Mamma Mia team from LPP Events. The dynamic quartet treated the audience to a captivating first set finishing with a dancefloor full of ‘Dancing Queens’! With an interactive feel, the Mamma Mia team were able to roam between the tables, really captivating the audience’s attention.
A quick break allowed the winner of the Best Dressed Competition to be announced. It was no easy task for the Mamma Mia team, as many attendees went all out with their fantastic outfits. However, a deserving winner emerged, donning a stunning silver sparkle jumpsuit and matching hat. Their reward? Two tickets to ABBA Voyage in London, ensuring their ABBA journey continues!
As the Mamma Mia team returned for their second set, the dancefloor soon filled with some well-known classics such as “Dancing Queen”, “Voulez-Vous”, and “Super Trooper”, promoting guests to unleash their inner dancing divas and sing their hearts out.
As the live performance drew to a close, the DJ took over and helped keep the party atmosphere alive, helping the dancing spirit continue into the night.
Emily expressed her enjoyment saying the evening was “absolutely brilliant”. She went on to say that it was the perfect friend’s night out, with amazing food a warm welcome and fabulous entertainment.
