On Sunday 5th July, we welcome the incredible Newark and Sherwood Concert Band, a 40 piece ensemble known for their captivating performances and rich sound. From timeless classical compositions to well known favourites, their performance will bring energy, elegance and a wonderful sense of occasion to the grounds.
Guests are invited to arrive from 3pm, giving plenty of time to settle in, soak up the surroundings and prepare for the performance, which will begin at approximately 4pm.☀️
One of the highlights of the day is the chance to create your own classic Proms experience. 🧺 Bring along a picnic blanket, gather your favourite people and enjoy a leisurely afternoon surrounded by beautiful scenery and uplifting music. It is the perfect way to make the most of the summer season.
For those wanting to elevate the experience, our Proms Picnic Box for Two offers a delicious selection of sweet and savoury treats. Carefully prepared and ideal for sharing, each box includes a range of sandwiches, freshly baked savouries and indulgent cakes, along with fresh fruit. A vegan option is also available, ensuring there is something for everyone to enjoy.☕🍰
