The Renaissance at Kelham Hall was a buzz with Bavarian spirit on the night of October 27th as we celebrated our very own Newark Oktoberfest! The event was a whirlwind of authenticity, culinary delights, and live entertainment that transported our guests straight to the heart of Germany.
Newark Oktoberfest - A Night of Bavarian Bliss
From the moment our guests arrived, the authentic Oompah Band set the tone for the evening. Their lively mix of traditional Bavarian tunes and clever oompah adaptations of well-known songs had everyone clapping, dancing, and even trying their hand at a bit of yodelling. It was an incredible experience that truly captured the essence of Oktoberfest.
Oktoberfest wouldn’t be complete without the finest German beer, and our event featured none other than the renowned Paulaner. The rich, satisfying taste of these masterfully crafted brews, served in our fabulous stein glasses. The atmosphere was a mix of lively conversations, laughter, and clinking beer steins as everyone enjoyed these traditional Bavarian brews.
A few of our guests embraced the spirit of Oktoberfest by donning their best lederhosen and dirndls. Others, enjoyed our fabulous props and took to opportunity to take a fun photo, donning our Oktoberfest hats.
The menu was a true Bavarian feast. Our guests indulged in soft pretzels, hearty Bratwurst sausages, and tasty churros. Each bite was a tantalizing experience, and the culinary delights perfectly complemented the excellent beer.
Andy shared his enjoyment of the evening saying he “had a fantastic time at the Oktoberfest. The venue is stunning, and both the service and food were wonderful. A very entertaining and enjoyable evening. Would highly recommend”.
Tony was also in agreement saying that he “had a fun night at the Oktoberfest. Great atmosphere and the whole evening was great from start to finish. The staff were amazing and could not do enough for you”. Tony finished by saying that he “will be going back soon”.
Our Newark Oktoberfest at the Renaissance at Kelham Hall was an absolute blast. The vibrant atmosphere, the authentic entertainment, the delicious cuisine, and the Paulaner brews created a memorable experience that celebrated the true spirit of Bavaria.
