The night sky over Newark came alive on Sunday, November 5th, 2023, as we hosted the most spectacular Newark Family Firework Show at the enchanting Renaissance at Kelham Hall. This year, our event was bigger and better than ever before, and the crowd knew they were in for a treat.
Spectacular Sights: Newark Family Firework Show 2023
After the phenomenal success of our 2022 event, which was a complete sell-out, we knew we had to increase our capacity to accommodate the growing excitement. And what a night it turned out to be!
As the clock struck 5:30 p.m., the gates to our sold-out 2023 Newark Family Firework Show swung open, welcoming families from far and wide. The anticipation was electric, and the night promised to be filled with magic, excitement, and wonder.
The night was illuminated by Newark’s biggest fireworks display, presented by the fabulous Dynamite Fireworks Ltd. The skies were painted with vibrant colours, sparkling lights, and awe-inspiring patterns. The display was set to well-known songs, including the classic James Bond theme tune, Disney’s The Lion King, and The Greatest Showman, creating a symphony of lights and sound that had the audience singing along.
With the most spectacular finale, filling the night sky above the Renaissance at Kelham Hall, cheers could be heard throughout the crowd, marking the climax of an unforgettable evening.
But this event wasn’t just about the fireworks, although they were undoubtedly the highlight of the evening. Families gathered to enjoy a variety of delectable food stalls, serving up everything from freshly made pizzas and mouth watering chicken burgers to sizzling bratwurst sausages. For those with a sweet tooth, waffles, doughnuts, ice creams, and homemade cakes were also on offer. Those looking to quench their thirst had the option of the fabulous Route 14 bus bar, warming mulled wine and luxury hot chocolates.
The evening was sound tracked by the talented KPD Sounds DJ who took requests and captivated guests with a wonderful light and LED display. Guests cherished the opportunity to get a photo with the amazing LED Globot that towered above, its enchanting glow adding a futuristic touch to the evening.
